She caught it and looked to it. ''What is this?'' She muttered softly. She gave a soft sniff at it. ''...'' She sighed softly. ''Fine then, I trust you... but if you try anything demon I will not be afraid to blow your brains right out of your skull.''
''You've got nothing to fear from me. We aren't that different you and me.'' He extended his arm showing her the way ''After you miss.''
She raised an eyebrow and cautiously walked past the male demon, many things going through her head at the time. ''Why are you even being nice to humans?''
He laughed softly not being surprised by the question. ''I used to be as you think all demons are... I was abandoned as a child and these villagers took me in. They didn't care that I was different and that I could kill them and not think anything of it... but they loved and cared for me despite that. This may sounds strange... maybe even impossible to you but... I care for them, they are family to me.''
''they will accept you, but not me.'' She suddenly stopped. ''I'm not going back there, they will still secretly hate me and try to get me alone to butcher me...'' She whispered softly, allowing her hair to cover her face. ''I'm never going back there...''
''I won't allow it. I promise you that no harm will come to you. Just give it some time... they might warm up to you.'' He said in a cherry voice.
''They used to love me, then my parents died and I learned Alchemy, and since then they have hated me...'' She whispered softly. She just about broke down, her arms wrapping around the demons unconsciously, holding onto his shirt with her hands. She seemed to be hugging him... and crying.
He stood there in shock, she hated demons but there she was holding onto him and crying. Kaimon wrapped his arms around her gently but firmly . ''It's ok... I'm here.'' He couldn't think of anything else to say so he just held her.
''Why...'' She whispered and pulled away from him. She shook her head. ''I'm sorry... I just can't go back there... so much has happened there from my past I just don't want to go back...'' She whispered softly. ''I'm sorry...'' She turned on her heal and sat on the grass, bringing her legs to her chest, her head buried in her arm.
Kaimon sat on the ground next to her. ''You don't have to go back there. I've got a home I build in the middle of the woods free from humans and demons alike only animals live there.''
''No... I don't need your help...'' In truth she did, but she didn't want to seem pathetic in the demon's eyes... she was slowly developing a kind of crush on him. ''... I can do this on my own... I just need to get a job and I should be fine...''
He looked over to her. ''If you're sure. I could always use an extra hand with my craftsmanship if your interested. If you're not you are welcome to stay with me as long as you like. I can't let you sleep out in the cold.''
''No... have to do this on my own... I need to do this on my own because I promised someone I would..."" She said softly, plucking up a blade of grass, nibbling on it. She laid out on the grass and curled up, still lightly shivering from the cold.
Kaimon was puzzled why she wouldn't except help in this matter what kind of promise would compel her to do this. He took of his shirt and laid it over her. '' Do you want me to go?''
She gently pulled the shirt over her. ''... no... I kind of like your company...'' She whispered softly and quietly stood up, her eyes widening as she saw the demon's chest but shook it off, wrapping her arms back around him. She felt his body heat warm her up instantly.
He smiled gently at her and embraced her. her smell was very exotic, not something common to the forest... he liked it. ''You never told me your name... or do you want me to keep calling you miss?''
"... Its Shinari Hojo... my mom called me Fate...'' She said softly, her cheeks a light pink. She felt like she had been a friend of this demon for years... but she had only met him a while ago... it was weird. She had never seen him around the village or anything. She jumped when she saw a fire. ''My... my house! oh no dad's sword!'' She let go of him and turned, running off as quickly as she could towards the fire.
''Damn... what's going on now!?'' Kaimon turned around and ran after her. He hoped the fire wasn't started by one of the villagers. Shinari was very quick almost too quick for him but he managed to keep up.
She had stopped in front of a burning home, the fire shining in her eyes. Her hand clapped together and opened, water starting to fall from the clear night, putting out the fire. Quickly, she shifter through the rubble that was left of her home. All she got from it was a cloak, a few clothes, a book... ''Thank god... dad's sword is fine...'' She strapped the sword onto her back.
Kaimon came to a stop besides her. He looked at her and brushed some rubble of her shoulder. ''This is terrible... what are you going to do now?''
I didn't plan on coming back... so take what little possessions I have left and head on out.'' She said softly. ''At least my mom's locket...'' She pointed to the one around her neck. ''... and my dad's sword is ok. My alchemy books and notes may be gone, but I have what my father and mother left me, that's all I asked for.'' She smiled softly and picked her clothes up and her book. ''I guess I'll see you... I'm going to go... I need to find a place to work... bye...''
Kaimon turned around as she walked off ''Please don't leave.'' He whispered softly. He cared for her even though he had only known her for less than a day he still cared for her.
She looked over her shoulder. ''... I have to... if I stay here longer more bad things could happen...'' She turned and walked up to him, she hadn't walked to far. ''I don't want you hurt just for being around me...'' She got up on her toes and softly kissed his cheek, then moved away reluctantly and turned, once more walking off.
Kaimon spoke in an even lower voice than before. ''I don't care... I can't stand to have you leave...'' He stood there in a painful silence as she walked off.
''FATE!!!!!!!!!!!'' It was a man's voice. She turned and got tackled by a boy about 8 years old and another boy about the same age. ''Where are you going Fate?'' ''Away...'' ''WHY?!'' ''Because I am not wanted here...'' ''Yes you are me and Tenoka want you to stay your our favorite story teller!'' She smiled softly. ''... Even if I did the mayor burned my home and I have no where to go...'' ''What about him, he said he didn't want you to go!'' She blinked, her cheek tinting red.
Kaimon's hair had been hiding his eyes. He quickly wiped away a tear and looked up. ''See? You are wanted here, what reason is there to leave when people want you to stay?''
She sighed softly. ''Fine... I'll stay, but where?'' The two boys got off of her and helped her up, holding onto her arms with their hands. ''These two's mom won't let me... and I don't want to be a burden on you...''
Kaimon's sadness dissipated instantly when she said those words. ''You a burden...? Never. I want you to stay with me.'' He was really growing fond of Fate.
''Really?'' She smiled softly at him. ''Thanks allot...'' The boys had ran off to their home for supper. ''Might want to put this back on...'' She handed him back his shirt. ''... lead the way Kaimon.''
Kaimon took the shirt from her and put it on. ''Come on... this way.'' He walked off to a less populated side of the village. They came upon a rather large house Kaimon opened the door for Fate.

((This is part of a story from a RP I'm going on hyperiums, while playing the game of course. ME and my friend Joey, Joe, and Mike are doing it. Injoy what I have so far))
The setting is more of a modern world but it is still a bit primitive (i.e. guns, explosives but no computers or other modern technology) Alchemy is just been discovered and the few people that can use it are highly respected and feared. Humans rule most of the world but is the far reached of the planet all kinds of creatures lurk.
Kaimon had just gotten back from a long day of hunting for food. The village he lived in so all the men and some women as well would go out every day and hunt. Once he put the meat away kaimon went and sat down by the river taking his shoes off and putting his feet in the water.
''Be gone hellion!'' There was ruckus coming from the small village. A girl not even 5'9 ran from the villagers. ''An alchemist has cursed us we must burn thee!!'' This girl was only human, she wouldn't survive a burning... but she could with her alchemy... but she didn't want to take the risk and get killed. She was running towards the river.
Kaimon's ears twitched slightly. he looked over and smiled with amusment when his eyes fell upon a few kids playing in one of the more shallow parts of the river. One of them slipped on a mossy rock before she had realized what happened Kaimon had already caught her. He smiled at her and she went back to playing.
''I'm not a hellion I'm only learning this to help out village!'' She yelled as her bare feet his the ground. She ran faster as her adrenalin rushed through her body. When she came upon the river however, her hands clapped in spread, the river splitting in two as she ran across it, quickly placing the water back. ''get back!'' Her hands were out in front of here, making the villagers stop.
He stood up slowly and stared at this strange young girl. ''Who are you? Why are you running from the villagers?'' The villagers backed up a little bit as he spoke.
''None of your concern.'' she said, her hands still stuck out, her palms facing the startled villagers. ''She's a hellion, an alchemist, she does not need to be here!'' the mayor spoke up. ''I'll show you who doesn't belong you old beer-belly bloke!'' Her hands clapped together and slammed onto the ground, sending a large wall at the villagers, knocking them back to the village.
Kaimon slashed his hand through the air and a red light flew towards the village. Then he walked across the river ''You've got some issues... why do you take it out on the villagers?'' He spoke softly as he walked towards her.
She did not look to him. ''Because they are the cause of my issues and my problems. I learned Alchemy to help my village from starving and to make it more prosperous, but they think me to be a hellion. I'm still human, Alchemy just gives me some ability one is not born with. They can not accept it.'' She turned on her heel and began to walk away from the village once more. ''And that is all you will need to know.'' She looked over her shoulder. ''Don't trust them demon.'' She faced back ahead and began to carefully climb through the dense forest, making her way to the center.
He sighed softly ''If Alchemy could solve our problems then this wouldn't be happening...'' He whispered. Then he spoke up so she could hear her. ''Don't judge them to quickly. They like to chase away what they don't understand.''
She did hear him, then looked to the ground. ''They don't like it because they think its only harmful...'' She said softly and continued on her trek through the forest. She let out a soft hiss as her lag was gashed open by a thorny plant, blood splirting out. ''I hate everyone and everything but nature so why even stay there...'' She muttered under her breath as she came to a clearing, using a paper tree, making paper from it to use as a weird bandage.
Kaimon stared quizzically at the patch of forest that the girl went off to. ''She didn't even tell me her name... oh well I'm sure I'll see her again.'' He walked back to the village to make sure the villagers were alright. The mayor thanked him for using red magic to protect them ''It's the least I could do, you took me in after all.'' He smiled and walked off to his workshop, he felt like making something.
As she sat, her eyes looked to a small timber wolf pup that came from no where. Her hand moved down, ushering the scared pup over. It did come, and she gently picked it up. ''your filthy little one... lets get you cleaned...'' She stood and tuned, taking the same path back and stayed on the one side of the river. ''I don't understand, if they can take in a demon with powers why can't they take in a human with Alchemy?'' The pup watched her as she ripped of a piece of cloth and dipped it into the water. She turned and sat on her knees, scrubbing the dirt of the wolf gently, then ripped f another piece of cloth, drying it. The small wolf stayed right next to her as he stood there, her eyes on the villagers that ran her out, anger lighting her pale blue eyes up, making them almost red where they were the icy blue color. ''I hate them....'' She looked over to the pup, who looked up at her at the same time. ''Hey, don't you have any parents?'' The wolf pup startled her as it shook its head no. ''Hm... well, and out with me for a while, alright? I'll take care of you, you can be called..... kinari, how's that?'' The pup nodded quickly, wagging its tail lightly in approval. ''Good. Come on Kinari, lets go see if we can sneak into the village so I can at least get the painting of my mom in dad... their dead to...... demon killed them....'' The pup softly nuzzled her, giving her a look. ''Fine... we'll wait till night...'' She looked to where the demon worked. 'I still don't trust him...'
Kaimon made weapons and tools for his village and the surrounding ones as well. He was a master craftsman the villagers always came back to him because he never charged anything for them, he said having people use them was payment enough for him. The fact that they lasted twice as long as ones made by other craftsmen. For some reason he was making a suit of armor, though it was unlike anything he had made before. It wasn't made with metal but with silk. When he was finished Kaimon infused the silk armor with White Magic, he laid it out on one of the many table in his workshop. He stared at the armor for a long while wondering what compelled him to make such a thing... then with the same unexplained reasons he started to make a sword. Kaimon looked around but couldn’t find something, he walked over to an old cabinet and pulled out a very rare Dragon Scale that was the same color as his hair. Kaimon went back over to his working area and started forging the sword.
She softly moved her hand back and foward, the water moving back and foward with small waves, making the pup wonder. She smiled softly and then looked at the pup, scooting back away from it. ''Demon...'' She whispered softly, standing up and moved back. ''Your a demon...'' The pup seemed to smirk and change, a man now standing there with silver hair, eats, tail. He wore a long cloak of black and clothing of black. ''Heh good girl.... now, you'll be coming with me... your Alchemy will be very well needed...'' his arm raised as a bow and arrow materialized in them, the arrow aimed right at her chest. ''Don't move.'' The girl just stood there as the demon slowly walked his way up to her, bow still raised.
Kaimon's ears twitched violently. He ran outside with his unfinished sword and sniffed the air, sensing a demonic aura across the river. It was near dusk and the villagers were still outside ''Get inside! Don't come out until I return!'' Kaimon sprinted off towards the Demonic aura wondering what a demon was doing in this part of the woods.
The demon stopped right in front of her, his clawed hand coming up to cup her chin, moving her head from side to side as he examined her. ''Beautiful... Shame your a human...'' He smirked and licked his lips. ''I can't have you bear my children... but I could make you my pet...'' The girl looked disgusted at this, but did not slap his hand away, she knew better then that.
He jumped clear over the river and dashed through the forest dogging trees while he followed the sent of the demon. Kaimon came across a small clearing and the strange demon had his hand on the girls face. 'What's going on here?'' He demanded.
The demon looked over to him, smirking. ''Well well, if it isn't Kaimon. Well, just making this pretty little human girl my slave... her Alchemy will help me with something. Also...'' His hand slipped down to the girl's side, who's face grew disgusted even more. ''I'm sure the prince would love a human...''
''If you consider that slime a prince... I wont let you do it Ammos. I wont let you take another innocent girl to that bastard.'' Kaimon mover closer to him.
''Heh then I guess I'll just keep her -'' He fell face-foward into the ground, the girl's hand up in the air. ''No, I didn't kill him, just knocked him out. I hate demons...'' She muttered under her breath and lowered her hand. ''I hope they all die and rot in the devil's step pot...''
'' I don't know what you think about demons but, we are not all like that... only some.'' He walked towards the body, stopped, looked down at it, and then walked towards the girl. ''You never did tell me your name.''
''I do not tell my names to demons.'' She said in a bit of a cold voice, walking away from the advancing demon. ''Why should I anyway? I would just end up like my mother and father.'' She muttered and picked up an arrow and the demon's bow, then rolled him over and set them on his chest.
Kaimon stopped his advance ''My name is Kaimon by the way. What happened to your parents? Why do you have enmity for demons? We aren't that different from humans.''
''Demons killed my parents. That is why. I've seen so many killed at the hands of demons...'' Her hands clenched, as if she were about to cry, but was fighting to hold back her tears. ''You are different... allot of you have no hearts and only want to make others their slaves so they can torture them... it makes me sick.'' She emphasized the last word by spitting on the ground.
''I would like to think I'm different from the others. I'm sorry for you loss miss. Is the real reason you came here to use your alchemy to help us... or some other reason?'' Kaimon was a bit worried about her.
''I learned it so no one else would have to die at the hands of a demon... but they did not believe me and called me a hellion, running me out.'' She muttered and crossed her arms. Night was approaching and her clothes were thin, making the girl shiver lightly. ''Why don't you get back to your place with them and have fun, leave me out here alone, I like being alone it gives me quiet and time to have to myself to do anything I want without being nagged at by that stupid mayor...''
''I can't leave you out here in the cold, You'd catch a cold. I'll take you to my place.'' He smiled softly. ''Don't worry about the mayor and the other villagers if you're with me then they wont bother you. Just don't wander off.'' He took her hand in his. ''Come on.''
She moved her hand from his swiftly. ''How should I know you won't just do something to me?'' She said softly, crossing her arms once more, shivering slightly for a moment. She didn't trust easily.
''You only have my word, but if you don't trust me then here.'' Kaimon tossed her a small pouch of some kind of sweet smelling powder.
((I hope that didn't offend anyone. I'll have more up later.))

One would say one thing of this poor girl, one would say another thing. Many tease her because of he name is Fate, but her hand has no fate line at all. It it like her life really doesn't exist. She works, cleans, and sleeps. Its always like this. But, one day, a fate line appeared on her hands when she touched the sea. This is where it all began.
Fate sat quietly, her hair softly shifting with the breeze, the sea brushing afainst the tan sand below her feet, just touching the girl's toes. She looked out to the sea with green glittering eyes. The moon madew her lucious brown hair golden-brown. Her eyes drifted up to the glowing moon, which happened to be full this night.
(I sorry I'll finish later)

Peaceful nights were normal in the town. But not this night. This night, a boy not even ten years old would change their lives forever.
Not, this boy was as shabby as a street rat, but, he was smarter then any scientist. People threw him out so he didn’t ruin the king’s power. He was left alone to fend for himself on the streets, ever since he was 7. That this boy would do for this town was to give them miracles, give them wealth, and in return, the boy would find his love there, an older boy.
“Mom!” A boy called out to his mother, whom was in the other room sipping at her hot tea.
“Yes son?” She called back, wondering why he had called her.
“There’s a boy outside. He looks hurt and not even that young. I’ve never seen him around.” He called to her. There was in fact a boy out in the rain.
“Will you go get him? We could take care of him!” The boy’s eyes sparkled at his mothers words.
“Than you mom! I’ll be right back!” The boy grabbed a cloak and ran outside. He watched the boy, and moved in front of him. The boy stopped watching him. “Come here, don’t be afraid. We can help you out.” The boy said soothingly. The little boy stepped forward and into the bigger male’s arms, who hugged him softly. He took the cloak and wrapped him up in it, gently picking him up and carrying him inside. This boy was only 13 years old, not much of a difference, no?
“Oh dear lord he looks terrible! Set him on the couch!” The boy nodded as his mother began to make soup, gently setting the boy down on the couch, his hand running through dirtied hair.
“Don’t worry… you’ll like it here. We’ll take good care of you.” The other watched him as he stood and made a motion to leave.
“Mister…” The other stopped and watched the little boy. “Please stay here with me. I don’t want to be alone anymore…”
The boy smiled softly. “Of course, I’ll stay here.” He took a seat next to the little boy, who crawled into his lap, snuggling into his warmth. The older boy put an arm around him, softly kissing his head. The boy closed his eyes, having a flashback.
~Beginning of Flash back~
“You stupid little boy! Get out of here right now!” The boy scrambled away and out the door as a woman threw a pan at him.
“Mommy! What did I do!” The little boy cried out. He only looked about seven years of age. He looked very scared.
“Get out of here! Don’t ever come back!” She screamed, the boy’s eyes watering at her words.
“Mommy…” He turned and ran, tears streaming down his cheeks.
~End flashback~
The boy’s eyes began to water at this flashback. His small hands held the older boy’s shirt tightly. “Mommy….” He whispered softly. “Why are you hurting me mommy…” He seemed to be asleep. The older boy softly stroked his hair, holding him protectively. The little boy opened his eyes, looking up to the eyes of the other, which were full of concern.
“Honey! Soups ready!” The older male looked to his mom, who smiled. “Be a dear and help him out. He looks like he needs a good shower and rest.” He nodded and took the soup for the smaller boy, holding the bowl as he ate.
(This is just something I'm working on atm for a friend of mine ^^;; tell me if you want me to add more of it as I work on it)
Well... here you go... enjoy... total boredomness.
Everyone felt the pain she felt
Everyone could see her saddened face
Everyone could tell she needed to be alone
And thats exactly how she felt.
Days wondered on and off
light after darkened nights went away
she had never left her room those many days and nights
and she was never seen again.
But, one day, someone found her
still asleep on her bed
she had been there for ten years now
and now it was time to live again.
The same one who found her
grew to love her like she loved him
and of course, the inevetable happened
and she married someone
Her life was chaiging with her marriage
changing with her pregnancy
changing with her child's birth
and changing with her baby's steps.
It shows one that anyone can change
even the depressed, saddened ones
because no one can stay the same forever
and thats how things are.

Thank you Joey for all of your support.
Quiet. Thats all a room was... that is all a boy was. The only thing really heard was soft strokes of a pencil atop paper, soft, strong strokes. All that was on the tan paper was a face... a detailed face, but a face all the same. It was the face of whom... the boy did not know. All that he knew is this... face kept appearing in his dreams, never leaving him alone, always popping in his dreams, no matter what they are. This man, helped him conquer dreams. He wondered... if he was real or not... and he wanted to know, even if it was the day he died when he found out.
He stood up quietly, shuffling through all of the cupboards quietly. He found acrylic markers, pulling out brown and tan, sitting at his desk ad coloring in the drawing. The male reminded him of a teacher at school, but that seemed almost impossible... a teacher interrupting his dreams, for a kiss? He doubted it highly. He put the markers away quickly, rolling up his paper and walking out.
He stopped outside of a door, the door to his english class, the door to whom the person in his dreams looked exactly alike. His hand shook as he reached for the door, knocking on it lightly. The door opened slowly as the boy looked up into two chocolate brown eyes.
"Hello Mr. Kito..." The boy said softly, shifting from foot to foot, uncomfortable at the gaze from his english teacher.
"Hello Meaku. May I help you with something?" He asked the boy, looking down to him.
"Umn... I just wanted to say hi sir..." Meaku said in a soft, shy whisper, continuing to shuffle his feet.
"Young one, come in..." He said, peaking at the drawing. He wrapped an arm around Meaku's waist, pulling him inside. "Have a seat..."
Meaku took the seat in front of Kito's desk. The larger man took a seat right across from Meaku.
"Well, what is it Meaku? You have more then a reason to come here..."
~Flashback~
"Get out!" A male voice yelled. It was Kito. This Kito was much younger, brown hair long and tied back. "Come on!" He yelled, helping as many people as he could from the burning inferno that was a small school.
"Mr. Kito! Meaku hasn't come out!" A small girl cried out.
"Meaku..." The male muttered, running into the blazing flames. "Meaku!" His voice rang out like a crisp bell toll. "Meaku! come on where are you!" He skidded to a stop as a large piece of wood fell in front of him. "Damnit..." He muttered. "Meaku this isn't funny! Where the hell-"
His voice stopped at this sight in front of him. A small boy was curled up in a tight ball, most of the skin... untouched. His arms stretched out, picking the boy up into his amrs gently. With quick speed, like that of a cheeta, he ran out.
~end flashback~
"I... I don't havea reason sir... I just wanted to say hi..." He said softly, the images flashing in his head.
Kito shook his head, reaching out and taking his hands softly into his own. "You can tell me Meaku..." He whispered, softly kissing the top of the boy's hand, who broke out in a deep red blush.
